Situated near the intersection of Northbourne Avenue and the Barton Highway, and overlooking the picturesque tree lined fairways of the Yowani golf course are the magnificent Yowani lawn bowling greens. Yowani has three couch greens and light’s for play at night. All greens have sun shading and seats at each end. During the warmer months coaching clinics are held on Sunday mornings. Both new and experience bowlers attend these clinics and it is a great way for aspiring bowlers to get started. Another Yowani triumph as the team of Mac McLean and Daniel Johnsoń emerged victorious in the Final of the ACT Men’s Pairs, which was played on Sunday at the Belconnen Bowling Club.
