I wish to inform Yowani Bowls Members that all bowls activities in regard to social bowls and events scheduled in the 2024 Yowani Bowls Program will cease on and from Friday 12 January 2024. I have informed the YCC Chairman and Management of this direction and timeframe.
Recent observations and conclusions drawn from the effects of the severance process revealed the overwhelming rejection of any members’ interest in pursuing further association with Yowani Country Club.
I believe the majority of members have now chosen a preferred club to continue bowling activities.
I would like to take this opportunity to record my appreciation of the dedicated Match Committee. These individuals gave generously of their time and expertise to put us on the green on our social and special event days. I move a heartfelt vote of thanks and appreciation for their efforts.
I am forever grateful to the Yowani Bowls Committee for their commitment and support of the direction of Yowani Bowls during my term of office. I felt privileged to be in this vibrant, robust company.
Whatever the outcome of this unfortunate event, to me Yowani Bowls will always be remembered as Yowani Bowls – the place to be, a culture and friendship like no other.
I wish everyone well in their pursuit of a balanced, happy lifestyle at their new club.
